In the past, a sewer line break meant that a technician would need to dig tunnels through your yard. This destructive, messy process could take days or weeks to complete, depending on the severity of the break. Now, however, trenchless sewer repair is fast and requires minimal excavation and disruption to your yard.
At Jet Speed Plumbing, our trenchless technology will ensure that your drains are repaired quickly without open-trench digging in your gardens, lawn, driveway or patio. Our construction methods include microtunneling and the use of state-of-the-art trenchless technology to efficiently fix the issue and get you back to your daily routine as quickly as possible.
Sometimes, it may be difficult to tell whether you need to repair or sewer or water line. Some of the symptoms you may experience that could be a sign a drain repair is needed:
We offer services that can upgrade a small water line to a larger one, replace a broken line or reline an existing pipe without destroying the existing features of your yard. Trenchless pipe repair not only eliminates the need to uproot your shrubbery and landscape, but it is also a cost effective process that typically takes less than one day to complete.
Trenchless rehabilitation includes construction methods such as mechanical spot repair, grout-in-place pipe, cured-in-place pipe, pipe bursting, gunite, shotcrete, thermoformed pipe and sliplining. These techniques help in the restoration, repair or replacement of existing structures and buried pipes with minimal excavation.
Our technicians may use a Pipe Pull method to replace a broken sewer or water line. By creating a small hole at each end of the sewer line, we can pull the pipe from one end of your yard to the sewer or water main. This method uses the existing broken or damaged pipe as a guide to laying the new pipe. Our technicians will attach a path-clearing, cone-shaped installation head to the new pipe and insert it through the old pipe. As the head passes through the existing pipe, it actually pulls a full-size replacement pipe with it.
Pipe relining, a process which eliminates the need to remove the damaged pipe, allows a technician to insert a line along the inside of the existing pipe. After the liner completely coats the old pipe, he inserts an inflatable bladder to hold the liner in place until it hardens and dries. After drying, the technician deflates and removes the bladder, revealing a new, seamless surface inside the old pipe, virtually creating a new pipe inside of the damaged one.
